Platform Overview

e-learningcourses.com is a learning management system (LMS) for assigning training to people across your organization and tracking who has completed it. It's widely used to roll out compliance training to employees and subcontractors, with reminders, reporting, and audit-ready records.

Key concepts

  • Course — A single piece of training a learner takes (often a SCORM package). A course is the thing that gets marked complete.
  • Package — A bundle of one or more courses that you assign as a unit. Pricing and assignment happen at the package level.
  • Customer / Group — An organization (or a subgroup within it) that you manage. Groups can have their own administrators and can be nested into subgroups.
  • User — A person with an account — either a learner who takes courses, or an administrator who manages people and assignments.

Roles at a glance

  • Learner — takes assigned courses and tracks their own progress.
  • Group administrator — manages users, assigns training, and runs reports for their group.
  • Author / organization administrator — creates courses and packages and manages the broader organization.
