Your First Course Assignment

Here's the shortest path from a brand-new administrator account to a learner with an assigned course.

  1. Add the people who need training. Add learners one at a time, or import many at once from a spreadsheet. For more than a handful of people, see Bulk User Import.
  2. Organize people into a group (optional but recommended). Groups make it easy to assign training to many people at once and to report on them together. See Groups.
  3. Choose a package to assign. Training is assigned as a package (one or more courses). Pick the package that contains the course your people need.
  4. Assign it. Assign the package to a group or to individual users. Each assigned person gets access to the course and (if you've set them up) a notification email.
  5. Turn on reminders. Set up automatic reminder emails so people are nudged before a due date. See Notifications.
  6. Track completion. Watch progress on your dashboard and export a report when you need proof for an audit. See Reports and Audit Export.
