Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions we hear most often. Looking for something specific? Try the Admin Guide or Learner Guide.
What is e-learningcourses.com?
It's a learning management system for assigning training to people across an organization and tracking who has completed it. It's commonly used to deliver compliance training across an organization, with reminders, reporting, and audit-ready records. See the Platform Overview.
What languages are supported?
The interface and course content are available in 13 languages, covering learners in over 100 countries. Each user has a preferred language that controls both the interface and the emails they receive. See Languages.
Note: this help center is currently available in English only.
How is our data handled?
Your data is hosted on Microsoft Azure and used to deliver training and reporting to your organization. Card payments are handled by a dedicated payment provider — we don't store full card numbers ourselves. For specific questions about data processing, retention, or a vendor security review, contact us using the details below.
What are the browser requirements?
Use an up-to-date version of Edge, Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. Some courses open in a new window, so allow pop-ups for the site. On corporate networks, ask IT to allow course content and our sending domain so courses load and emails arrive.
How much does it cost?
Pricing is a low monthly base plus a small per-assignment charge, with enterprise quotes available for high-volume rollouts. See Pricing.
How do I get support?
Email our support team at support@e-learningconsulting.com. Learners can also reach out to their organization's administrator.
Creating and Uploading Courses
What kind of courses can I upload?
You can upload any course that supports SCORM. All of the popular eLearning authoring tools support SCORM, including the free authoring tool included with your account, as well as tools from Articulate and Adobe Captivate. See Courses for more on SCORM.
How can I fix a problem uploading a course?
Verify your course supports SCORM. If you created it with an authoring tool, check the settings used to create or publish it. SCORM courses always contain a file named imsmanifest.xml, and that file must be in the root of the .zip file you upload, not in a subfolder.
What do I do after I upload a course?
Enter a title and description for your course. You can optionally add a thumbnail image that represents its content. Then create a package — a package contains one or more courses, and is what you sell and/or assign to your customers.
How do I add my course to a package?
Open the Packages menu item and select Create Package. Once the package is created, you'll see the option to add one or more courses to it.
