Search
Search finds courses, packages, groups, and users from any page, so you don't have to open each list first. It also has shortcuts to common tasks.
Opening search
Select Search at the top of the page, or press Ctrl K (⌘K on a Mac). When you aren't typing in a field, / opens it too.
Before you type
Search shows:
- Recent: the last five results you opened from search in this browser.
- Quick actions: shortcuts such as Add User, Create Package, Add Course, User Status, Settings, and Profile. Type to find more, such as Appearance or a page in the menu.
Searching
Type at least three characters. Results are grouped by type:
- Courses and Packages, by name.
- Groups, by name or supplier ID.
- Users, by name or email address. Each result shows the user's course and group, and opens their User Status row.
Names that start with your text come first. Each type shows up to 15 results; if there are more, type more of the name. Archived courses and users aren't included.
Use the arrow keys to move through the results, Enter to open one, and Esc to close search.
What you can find
Search follows your role:
- Administrator: everything in your organization.
- Group Admin: the packages, groups, and users in the groups you manage.
- Learner: search is hidden.
