My Certificates

If a course you complete has a certificate enabled, you'll receive it automatically — there's nothing to request or download manually to trigger it.

Getting your certificate

The moment you complete (and pass, if the course has a pass/fail check) a course with a certificate enabled, it's issued right away. You'll get an email with a link to view it, and it also shows up on your My Certificates page.

To find that page any time, click your account menu in the top right and choose My Certificates.

Not every course awards a certificate — it depends on whether your organization turned one on for that course.

What's on the My Certificates page

Each row shows the course name, the organization, the issue date, the expiration date (if the certificate expires), its certificate number, and a status:

  • Valid — current and good to show.
  • Expired — the certificate's validity period has passed. You keep the PDF, but it's flagged as no longer current.
  • Revoked — invalidated by the organization that issued it.

Use Download to get your PDF, and Verify to open the public verification page for that certificate — useful if you want to check exactly what someone else will see when they scan it.

Proving it's genuine

Every certificate PDF includes a QR code and a certificate number. Anyone — an employer, a client, an auditor — can scan the code, or go to the verification link printed on the certificate, to see a simple page confirming the learner's name, the course, the organization, the issue date, expiration date, and current status. No sign-in is required, and the page never shows your email address or any other account details.

tip

If you completed a course but don't see a certificate for it, your organization may not have certificates enabled for that particular course, or you completed it before certificates were turned on. Contact your administrator if you think you should have one.
