Settings
The Settings tab controls the course's identity, learner options, and content file.
Name
The display name shown to learners and administrators throughout the platform. Keep it clear and descriptive so learners know what they're about to take.
Allow retake
When Allow learner to retake the course after the course is complete is checked, a learner can re-launch the course even after they've already completed it. Use this for refresher training or when learners need to review material at their own pace. When unchecked, the course is locked after the first completion.
Description
A rich-text overview of what the course covers. Shown to learners before they launch it. Use it to set expectations — learning objectives, estimated duration, who the course is for.
Thumbnail
An image that represents the course in listings and on the learner portal. Accepted formats: .jpg or .png. Ideal size: 1280 × 720 px (16:9). Keep the file under 512 KB for fast loading.
Overwriting course files
The Overwrite Course Files button (top-right of the edit page) lets you replace the uploaded SCORM package with a corrected version without creating a new course record.
Use overwrite only for minor corrections — spelling, grammar, or a factual fix — where the course structure and completion behavior stay exactly the same. Do not use overwrite for changes that affect how the course behaves:
- Adding or removing pages or modules
- Navigation or bookmarking changes
- Changed correct answers or scoring
- Altered completion criteria
For structural changes like those, upload the content as a brand-new course instead, then update your packages to point to the new one.
