Email Delivery Status
When you check whether an invite or a notification reached someone, you'll see one of the delivery statuses below. Each one tells you a different stage of the email's journey from our server to the recipient's inbox.
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Processed | The message has been received by our sending service and is ready to be delivered. |
| Dropped | The message was not sent. Common reasons include an invalid address, content flagged as spam, an address that previously unsubscribed or bounced, or the recipient list being over a sending quota. |
| Delivered | The message was successfully delivered to the recipient's mail server. |
| Deferred | The recipient's mail server temporarily rejected the message. Delivery will be retried automatically. |
| Bounce | The recipient's mail server could not or would not accept the message at all. |
| Open | The recipient opened the email in their email client. |
| Click | The recipient clicked a tracked link inside the email. |
| Spam Report | The recipient marked the email as spam. |
Watch out for
A pattern of Bounce or Dropped statuses for one organization usually means their mail server is blocking our sending domain — ask their IT team to allow it. See Notifications for where these statuses show up.
